Sana Nameraka Honpo Soy Milk Isoflavone Foaming Cleanser — 150g
Nameraka Honpo is one of those ranges that never quite leaves Japanese pharmacy shelves, and the name gives away the appeal — nameraka means smooth. Everything in the line is built around fermented soy milk and isoflavones, ingredients long favoured in Japan for skin that has started to feel dry, tight or a little less bouncy than it once did.
The cleanser lathers into a dense, cushioned foam that lifts away the day's residue without that squeaky, stripped feeling afterwards. Soy milk and isoflavones are worked into the formula rather than added as an afterthought, so skin is left comfortable, soft and ready for whatever comes next rather than crying out for moisturiser. This is the version for normal skin, gentle enough for daily use morning and night.
Unfussy, well-priced and quietly effective. Very Japanese, in other words.
How to use
Squeeze a two-centimetre length into wet hands and work it into a rich lather, or use a foaming net for a denser, more cushioned foam. Glide the foam over damp skin without pressing, letting the bubbles do the lifting. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
In the evening, use after an oil cleanser to remove sunscreen and makeup properly. Follow with your lotion while skin is still slightly damp.
