A quick note for those newer to Japanese skincare: in Japan, a "milky lotion" or emulsion is a lightweight moisturiser applied after toner, not a cleanser. It sits between your toner and any heavier cream, locking in the layers beneath it while adding its own rich dose of nourishment.

The formula is built around seven targeted types of hyaluronic acid, each working at a different level within the skin to deliver the most comprehensive hydration possible.
